In this category, you will find Teachings and guidance that should lead you to insights about Self. In turn, those insights can lead to deep understandings. Application of the understandings, coupled with the knowledge gained from the Universal Teachings, will lead to greater control over the emotions and emotional responses, which can end badly if not addressed.
 
The insights and understandings will also help you to understand why you do what you do, and how to achieve the life you want.
 
I would venture to say that most people feel that they know themselves. Unfortunately, when they do feel that way, they stop searching for deeper answers and deeper understandings and just go on with the flow of their lives. The problem with that is that their lives are being orchestrated by the subconscious concepts in their mind. These are not necessarily beneficial for the fuller and deeper development of the Spiritual Self.
 
The concepts that one maintains in the subconscious are designed for one purpose, to maintain ACCEPTANCE, acceptance from mom. This is why some girls are just like their mom and others are the exact opposite. For men, it is something similar in the sense that the boys will be like dad, or the opposite. There are daughters that favor their dads just as sons favor their moms. In both instances, the child knew that was the way to go.
 
These modalities, being like or being opposite their gender, are the foundation upon how one lives life. The concepts that build one’s belief system is based on the particular mode for acceptance one uses.
 
The terms that are easier to see and understand are approval for acceptance, and rejection as a form of acceptance. As hard as that is to believe, that rejection is a form of love and acceptance, I know you see it every day in friends, family and maybe self to some degree. As people, we either seek approval or rejection, as both forms guarantee acceptance from mom.
 
Why is that? The answer lies in the fact that we are all spiritual beings in a material world. By material I mean this three-dimensional physical reality we are experiencing. Because we are spiritual beings we want to go home, back to the spiritual dimension or spiritual plane, back to the peace and tranquility. We know this place, the material plane, is crazy. All one needs to do is look around to see how out of harmony we are on some many levels. See how the dark forces are gaining ground.
 
Being what you think you need to be, to have acceptance from mom, is NOT the truth of who you CAN be, a truly spiritual manifestation of the God Force on the material plane. To achieve that you must evolve away from those teachings and concepts that are limiting and have become the foundation of the current you.
 
Here is the Teaching addressing this concept: “The disciples said to him: Thy brethren and thy mother are standing outside. He said to them: Those here who do the will of my Father, these are my brethren and my mother; these are they who shall enter into the kingdom of my Father.” (Saying #99, Gospel According to Thomas)
