Love 5

Love 5

In this blog, we will talk about the most important aspect of love
called Divine Love.
Divine Love is a special kind of love that includes everyone, no matter what they believe in, their gender, the color of their skin, or the culture they belong to. Sadly, it seems that this type of acceptance and love is missing in today's world.
Even in nations that claim to follow the Judaic/Christian beliefs, we don't always see Divine Love in action. Instead, we often witness hate and animosity. This is true for many other religions and countries as well. The leaders of major religions don't always teach love and acceptance, which is quite unfortunate.
When we look around, we see so many divisions and a lack of acceptance for those who don't share the same beliefs as we do. It's essential to remember the teachings from ancient times that tell us the importance of unity and working together.
For instance, in the Bible, it is said, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand." (Matthew 12:25) This means we need to put aside our differences and work together to protect this dream of freedom and our country. We MUST stop the
spread of hatred.
The concept of loving our neighbors is also emphasized. In the Old Testament, it is written, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." (Leviticus 19:18. ) This idea is extended to strangers living among us, whom we should love as if they were one of us. (Leviticus 19:34)
In the New Testament, Jesus presents this by saying, "That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." (John 13:34) He emphasized that our love for others will show that we are truly his disciples.(John 13:35) It is a bit puzzling to see many people claiming to be believers and followers but not living according to Jesus' teachings. He clearly stated, "If ye love me, keep my commandments.”(John14:15)
Another teaching compares those who follow Jesus' teachings to wise people who build their houses on a solid foundation. (Matthew 7:24) Those who don't follow these teachings are like foolish people building their houses on unstable ground.(Matthew7:26)
Other wise individuals, like Lao Tzu, Buddha, and Confucius, have also spoken about the importance of love and how it can bring positive change to the world.
So, it's essential to ask ourselves where we stand and what kind of love we practice. Do we follow Divine Love or simply a love that is made by humans?
In the next blog we will explore objectivity. This is a very important gift. It allows you to see things clearly. Unshaded by your gender, culture upbringing, traditional approach to life, as well as your belief system.
