In this blog we continue with understanding how our patterns work.
Here again there is a teaching on this: “we look back in order to see ahead.” This is something your mind does automatically when you are stimulated. It looks back to see you handled it in the past. Then it uses the pattern to deal with the now. Keep in mind that what you are going through in the now is NOT identical to the past
situation.
However, from an energetic point of view, it is exactly what you have been through before. Here is more wisdom from the Bible: “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:15.) That last part relates to karma.
Sometimes, our thoughts can lead us astray, making us imagine things that might not be true, especially when we think about how others are treating us. We might interpret their actions positively or negatively, but sometimes, neither of these interpretations is accurate.
Once again, there is a teaching about stray thoughts, and their danger as stated above. Here is that teaching: “How think ye? If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into
the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?”(Matthew
18:12.)
Understanding ourselves and the patterns we follow takes time and patience. Just like in advertising, where you need to hear a message multiple times before it sticks, we may need to reflect on our behaviors repeatedly to truly grasp their impact on our lives.
So, embark on this journey of self-discovery, understanding your patterns, and striving to create positive changes in your life. By doing this, you can become the best version of yourself and live a more fulfilling life.
In our next issue we go deeper still.
