In today’s writings we look at the internalization of using willpower for growth on all levels.
The internal application of willpower entails recognizing aspects of yourself that you wish to improve or even change. It is common to attend courses, read books, and engage in exercises to facilitate personal growth. However, despite swearing that you will never repeat certain behaviors or situations, you may find yourself inadvertently drawn back into similar circumstances. This phenomenon was previously discussed, highlighting how energetically similar situations can reoccur. This is based on concepts that are triggered in the subconscious mind. That in turn sets the patterns in motion.
For instance, declaring that you will never have a relationship with a certain type of person again, only to discover similarities in the current relationships that you vowed to avoid. Similarly, claiming you will never work for a specific type of boss, yet encountering qualities in your current boss reminiscent of what you previously rejected. Therefore, it is crucial to comprehend that life is shaped by fulfilling your subconscious expectations, and this point is reiterated to ensure a deep understanding rather than superficial acknowledgment. Merely claiming comprehension while observing stagnant personal growth contradicts the essence of true understanding.
Willpower is also taking the knowledge gained, about self, others, life and situations, and applying it to accomplish, or avoid, problems and issues in the here and now. These actions can, and often do, lead to emotional control over your actions, and reactions, thus eliminating potential grief and disharmony in your life.
In our next postings we will embark upon another set of giftsthat you possess that can, and do, save your life.
